Bill Vyers is from a little town in Texas. Bill is referred to as the “Job of modern times” by many area pastors. God has always been a great part of his life and he depends on God for all his needs. Blyss in Heaven Ministries was born in jail and has now spread to three states. Bill is available to travel and speak of God’s love as shown him through the death of his daughter, Blyss, his father’s death, two failed marriages, his terminal cancer, heart condition, diabetes, loss of all worldly things, and false incarceration. The story of Blyss Eterna Vyers shows the character of a man of God.

I was born in Scottsburg, City of Scott County Indiana on January 26, 1956. I have lived in Scott County most of my life; except for a short period when my parents moved back to their hometown in Eastern Kentucky shortly after my birth, but that was short lived. We ended up moving back to Scottsburg, and this is where I have lived ever since. I attended the Scott County School systems; I started first grade through the sixth at Johnson Elementary, then seventh through ninth at Scottsburg Junior High, and then finished High School at Scottsburg Senior High in 1974.

I have two younger sisters, two children, three stepchildren, six grandchildren, and my wife Rita of eleven years. My life is busy with work and grandchildren, but the grandchildren are worth it. My wife Rita and I both work for Multi Color Corp. at Scottsburg IN., we have both worked there for seventeen years now.

Peter Knoester was born in The Hague in the Netherlands. He now resides in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, and is working on two other books of poetry and stories. His first book, Poems and Stories for Children, was published in 2009, and is a wonderful read for children, parents, and grandparents. His second book, Poems and Stories From the Heart, transcends into his beautiful expressions of moving collection of stories and poetry that will touch you deeply, and will give you a better understanding of how we all face our challenges.

Knoester writes both from personal experience as well as relating incidents occurring to those he has known. His impressions will stay with you long after you read the last page.Above all, his writing provides the belief that no matter how dark things may look, there is always hope, and the proverbial “light at the end of the tunnel.”

Over the years, I began to realize that I had the ability to write a one page short story using one or two true life facts. I would later use the short story to build a longer fictional story.

My book We Are Cat People started out as a one page story that sat in my office for quite a while before I began doing anything with it. Presently, I have two other literary projects in the works.

I realize that words cannot describe fully how owning a pet can make you a better person. I know that a cat can bring joy, laughter, and love. That is what my cats give freely to me. I love cats!
